ABOUT MINISTRY DIRECTOR, PASTOR DENOTRA JOHNSON

Pastor Denotra Johnson and her husband, Pastor Willard (JJ) chose long ago to follow the Lord at all costs. As ministers of the Lord they saw many healings, deliverances and great miracles that the Lord performed through their ministry. They traveled in the mission field for twelve years, ministering in 16 countries, including the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Russia, England, Germany, the Islands and others. As they carried the Gospel, they planted churches while evangelizing the nations. They held Conferences, seminars and retreats as well as ministering in churches in the United States, with multitudes of souls saved, healed and delivered. In 1993, the Lord spoke to them that they were to cease their travels and move to Apple Valley, California where they were to bring what they had taken to the nations to the High Desert. 

After relocating, because of snow and difficulty in traveling the freeway to get to their church which was 64 miles away they began to have prayer and bible studies in their home. They never dreamed that they would be starting a church, but when the attendance grew to around 30, the Lord directed them to establish a church. God called Denotra to be the pastor with JJ as the Church overseer. For fifteen years they pastored a Spirit-filled, Word teaching Church that grew and touched many lives. The Lord blessed the Church with a new Sanctuary in 2009 and the church continued to thrive. They brought in an Assistant Pastor to assist with the vision that God had given Pastor Denotra for the Church. 

As Pastor JJ’s health began to decline, the Assistant Pastor, Joseph Valery was made the Senior Pastor. Pastor Denotra continued to work in the Church while she took care of her husband. Pastor Denotra thought this was retirement for her, but the Lord said to her "this is not retirement for you, This is refirement". He said that she was not being demoted, but was indeed being promoted. She didn’t know what that meant, but soon began to move in a strong prophet's anointing,  Gods specific instruction to her was “You are to prepare my people”. Her message became a message of correcting and redirecting. Particularly, one of commitment, repentance and prayer. Her message seemed to be one of training a soldier for war, a message of urgency. One to cause the body of Christ to be in a new place of dedication and commitment. You cannot stay in the same place when you sit under Pastor Denotra’s ministry. 

Pastor JJ went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2014 and since then the desire to fulfill the call of God on her life has intensified. It is evident when she speaks. She is now ministering throughout the United States and wherever God directs her to go. She has developed a prayer outreach ministry, a Women’s outreach ministry and ministers in conferences and churches, crying out for spiritual revival.

Jer 1:4-6 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying:  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

2 Tim 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

2 Cor 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not.

2 Cor 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake.

Eph  4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
